In preparation for the new 2019 season, the Groningen Giants played a friendly match against Hilversum Hurricanes. Many rookies got their first glimpse of real football! They found out practice is different from an actual game with a real opponent. For the veterans it was a warming-up for the season.
The game was won by the Giants with 3 Touchdown passes from #1 QB Emil ter Veld to Edu Brooke and 1 pick6 caught by David Garcia and returned for 95 yards. That final touchdown settled to score at 26-15 in favor of the Giants!
